ISPS-Audit
The ISPS Code is a set of measures to enhance the security of ships and port facilities. It prescribes responsibilities to governments, shipping companies, shipboard personnel, and port/facility personnel that will help detect security threats and take preventive measures against security incidents affecting ships or port facilities anywhere in the world. The ISPS Code requires from port and shipping organizations that they conduct regular security audits in an effort to monitor and assess continued compliance.
We are able to undertake independent ISPS-audits for you across the globe, taking into account additional national mandatory security regulations that may exist at the audit-site. Audits include a detailed risk-based assessment of the implemented security procedures as well as physical security measures. Should gaps be detected, we are subsequently able to support you in bridging these. In addition, we are able to conduct training for Company-, Ship- and Port Facility Security Officers.
While these audits may seem like a handful, it is of the utmost importance that you are prepared when these audits are indeed needed. The jargon and sophisticated language might make you sweat a bit, but, for us at Proximities, it’s part of the job. We take pride in solving these complicated issues for your company.
